Meet Owain Evans
Owain Evans is a GCC-registered Doctor of Chiropractic (MChiro) who graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, University of Glamorgan (now University of South Wales), in 2009. He is a Fellow of the British Chiropractic Association and a Member of the Royal College of Chiropractors. His clinical focus is sports and exercise injuries.
His approach is biomechanical. A lot of pain in active people is mechanical: a joint that isn't moving well, a tissue that's overloaded, a pattern that keeps breaking down. Owain assesses the wider movement chain as well as the painful area, and treatment is aimed at what the assessment finds.
He works with people who want to stay active. Where it's appropriate, the plan is built around modifying training rather than stopping it, and he'll tell you plainly if you'd be better seen by someone else.
