What we treat
Sciatica treatment in Elephant & Castle, London
Sciatica — pain that travels from the back into the buttock and down the leg — is a signal that a nerve is being irritated. We find the source and calm it down.

What is sciatica, really?
'Sciatica' describes leg pain caused by irritation of the sciatic nerve or its roots — often from a disc bulge, a tight or overloaded structure compressing the nerve, or referred pain from the lower back. It can feel like burning, shooting pain, pins and needles, or weakness down the leg.
How we treat sciatica
First we confirm what's actually driving the symptoms with a thorough neurological and structural assessment. Treatment then reduces the irritation — restoring movement in the lumbar spine and hips, releasing the tissues compounding it, and giving you specific positions and loading to settle the nerve and stop it flaring.
When to act
Acute, high-intensity sciatica responds best when it's not left to grind on for months. If you have severe or worsening weakness, numbness in the saddle area, or bladder changes, treat it as urgent and seek medical care immediately.
